It was the future. Blaze the Cat was sitting on a hill near the sea at 11:00pm. She just stared at the sea. She didn't look too joyful.
"Blaze." said a familiar voice behind her. It was Silver the Hedgehog. He came closer. "You look like something's bothering you. What's wrong?"
"I just wonder..." she began. "I just wonder about if the world was as peaceful as this in the past. I mean Eggman Nega is always disturbing the peace but at times like this, I can't help but wonder. Was the past peaceful? Was it bad because of someone like Eggman Nega? I wish we could see the past for ourselves."
"Hmmm..." Silver thought. " I wouldn't mind seeing the past myself."
"But how can we get there?" Blaze asked.
"This is the future, Blaze." he replied. "There's bound to be technology to create something that can transport us to the past."
"Shall we check the lab?" Blaze asked again.
"Okay, let's go there." Silver said.
They reached the lab and they walked down a corridor until they heard an evil laugh.
"Sounds like Eggman Nega. Hide!" Silver whispered. The two hid behind a wall. A bloated figure walked around the corner. It was Eggman Nega.
"Oh ho ho ho ho!" he laughed. "Finally, I'll be able to change the past and make myself the greatest scientist ever!" He went into a room with a large machine, pulled a lever and vanished.
"Change the past?" Blaze wondered. "Then that must be a time machine! Let's go, Silver!"
"Um, okay.." Silver said. " Hope we can return to our time though." They ran to the machine, pulled the lever and teleported to the past.

Time to put my English to good use. LOL.
This is based on Silver's story in Sonic Rivals, the first one. Because the events of Sonic Next Gen never happened, Silver and Blaze haven't been to the past yet. This is before he races Shadow.
And yes, I'm aware that Silver doesn't metion Blaze at all in that game but this is just fiction, okay.
